¿A quién le importa?

In the same "A.M.: Antes del mediodía" interview of Alaska (see previous posts), I was surprised to learn, watchin an interview of the singer Alaska on Argentina's morning show "A.M.: Antes del mediodía" that Alaska, with her band Dinarama, was the original performer of "¿A quién le importa?," a song I always enjoyed as performed by Mexican superstar Thalía in the following video. One identical song, two very different videos, both presented below with translated lyrics for your Spanish learning pleasure. (Memorizing songs you like is one of the best ways to learn any language--and to remember what you learn for forever!)

On an important side note, Thalía and Alaska are both very talented artists and, therefore, well worth checking out (and buying music from). :   )

¿A quién le importa lo que yo haga? ["What I (may) do (in the future)" is still "up in the air" (undecided, unknown, undefined) so "haga," the subjunctive form of HACER (to do), is used.]
¿A quién le importa lo que yo diga? ["What I (may) say (in the future)" also subjunctive, so "diga," from DECIR (to say).]
Yo soy así y así seguiré.
Nunca cambiaré.

Like so many of Marco Antonio Solís's songs, here is yet another that is both beautiful poetry and beautifully sung! My apologies to anyone who finds these lyrics a little too painful at the moment.
